Brandy Manetta, FNP-C, IFM-C, obtained her Family Nurse Practitioner Certification in 2009 after many years working as a nurse in Methodist Trauma center, St. Francis ER, and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway infield hospital. Once she obtained her certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Brandy worked at IU Health West Emergency department in Avon, IN for over 6 years. She was the director of Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for four of these years. Brandy frequently saw many patients return as they couldn’t find the root cause or even a “fix” to their symptoms. This prompted Brandy to explore other types of medicine where she found functional medicine. Brandy began working at a functional practice 2014 until July 2020. Brandy believes that there is a place for both traditional and functional medicine through a direct patient care model that allows her to have fewer patients, lower cost, and the flexibility to create plans that are unique to each patient. Specialties are gut health, allergies and food sensitivities, constipation, preventing illness, skin rash, abdominal discomfort, vitamin deficiencies, hypertension, type II DM, Insulin resistance, weight loss, headaches, hormones, fatigue, thyroid issues, preventative medicine, etc.Brandy obtained her certification through the Institute of Functional Medicine in 2019 after 3 years of study and passing a written exam as well as a peer reviewed case study. This elite group exists of just over 1000 providers across the country. Brandy is licensed to prescribe medications. The goal is to reduce the number of prescriptions needed as well as even supplements! Brandy is a wife of almost 20 years, a mother to four, a daughter, an active Christian, friend, and wears many other titles! She has loved her experiences in traditional medicine from the ER and family practice as well as the holistic approach in combination with this! Our goal is that you feel heard and know you have a partner in your health care journey!

Janelle McKee, FNP-C, obtained her Family Nurse Practitioner Certification in 2012 from IUPUI. Prior to her certification, she worked as a nurse in a variety of fields from Ortho/Neuro, Labor & Delivery, NICU and post-partum. Since obtaining her certification as a Nurse Practitioner, Janelle has worked in OB/GYN at IU North Women’s Carmel group. She has enjoyed working with women during all phases of life, and especially loves working with her patients in preventative health, hormones, thyroid issues, fatigue, and nutrition. She is excited to give Direct Patient Care which will allow her to have quality time with her patients allowing her to help them achieve optimal health.
Janelle’s journey into functional medicine began 6 years ago when she became a functional patient herself. She was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder and found she had little to no hope with conventional medicine. She was given a medication with no further explanation to how she could find healing. That is when she advocated for herself and found functional medicine. That planted a seed and she saw medicine in a different light. She started to understand that you can find root causes and heal people with proper nutrition, allergy testing and gut health. Janelle believes there are needs for conventional medicine and there is space for both traditional and functional medicine. Ultimately, Janelle’s healing and autoimmune remission were due to her lifestyle adjustments, gut health and proper supplementation.
When Janelle is not at the office, she enjoys CrossFit, hiking and making wholesome meals with her family. She has been married for almost 20 years, mother to a 15-year-old son and 11-year-old daughter. She finds enjoyment in cheering her children on in their activities. She is actively involved in her church and resides in the Westfield area.

She has experience in occupational health and travel medicine as well. After working with Brandy on her own gut health issues, she realized the need for both traditional and functional medicine to provide holistic care. She is excited to expand her knowledge in traditional medicine as well as learn more about functional medicine.
When Jill is not in the office, she enjoys working out, hiking, and cheering her children on in their activities. She has been married for 18 years and is a mother of three beautiful daughters. Jill will continue travel medicine, health coaching, weight loss memberships as well as begin seeing her own patient group! We are so excited to have her. Maryanne “Nan” O'Brien, WHNP-BC, is a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with a passion for empowering women to take charge of their health. Her nursing journey began at St. Francis Hospital, where she built a strong foundation in patient care and discovered her love for supporting women through some of the most transformative moments of their lives. She then joined St. Vincent Carmel, continuing her work as a labor and delivery nurse.
Seeking to broaden her expertise, Nan transitioned to Our Health, where she gained valuable experience in primary care and deepened her understanding of comprehensive patient care. Determined to further her knowledge and career, Nan returned to school in 2021 and graduated from Kent State University in 2024 as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. Throughout her career, she has had the privilege of working alongside one of HIW’s providers, Melissa Lotti, and even completed part of her advanced practice training at Health Is Wealth. That experience solidified her decision—HIW was the perfect place to practice and provide the care she is most passionate about.
With over a decade of experience in nursing, Nan is dedicated to helping women live their healthiest, most vibrant lives. While she has loved caring for women at every stage, she has developed a special interest in perimenopause and menopause care. She recognizes that this phase of life is often overlooked and is committed to ensuring women feel heard, informed, and supported as they navigate this transition.
Outside of work, Nan is a proud wife and mother of three—two sons (22 and 17) and a daughter (15). When she’s not in the office, she enjoys being a football, soccer, and lacrosse mom and spending quality time with family and friends.
